TRAINING THE CLINICAL TRAINER

The Train the Clinical Trainer (TCT) course originated from the ‘Introduction to Training the Trainers’ presented by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). The programme was adapted through international funding and was first introduced in South Africa in 2014. The course was presented at least once a year from then, except for 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In South Africa, we have trained 186 South African Family Physicians and 18 participants from other African countries. Courses were also presented in other African countries.
