How does it work?

The South African Academy of Family Physicians NPC is registered and approved for section 18A (1) (a) of the Act, and this means that donations to the academy [SAAFP] are tax deductible.

A taxpayer making a bona fide donation is entitled to a deduction from taxable income if the donation is supported by the necessary section 18A receipt, issued by SAAFP.

As of March 2023, SARS requires new information to be present on your 18A Certificate.  Kindly complete the form below to provide us with the information required.

How to submit

Send an email with all the required information to admin(at)saafp.org.

Banking

All taxpayers can deduct any donations they make to SAAFP up to 10% of their taxable income.

The donation must be paid or transferred during the assessment year to qualify for a tax deduction in the same year.
